Maricultura Regenerativa Ltda., or MARE, is a startup with socio-environmental and climate impact, founded in 2021, promoting marine aquaculture and biotechnological processing, creating high added value products for agriculture.

We have developed a 100% organic agricultural biostimulant, capable of regulating the physiology and metabolic balance of plants, from the red macroalgae Kappaphycus alvarezii.

We work with traditional coastal communities, with credit and professional training, supporting the cultivation of seaweed, an activity that generates numerous ecosystem services.

MARE was among the top three climate impact startups in the Climate Launchpad 2022 Global Final, after being one of the top seven in the Regional Final among the Americas, and the winner in first place in the National Final, among Brazilians.

Also in 2022, MARE was a finalist among the top 10 solutions of the Thought For Food x Hello Nature Topical Prize on Sustainable Crop Inputs
